On Thursday our group started of Murray's visit with a lovely hot swim at Ngawha Springs. On Friday some people joined in for a wonderful dinner at Maureen's and the dvd we watched later called "The Gospel of Judas" evoked a bit of interest and conversation.
Then for the big event! On Saturday, we were treated to that exploration Murray promised as he spoke about "Sacred Activism - Wisdom in Love and Action". He looked at the major challenges and possibilities facing Earth’s inhabitants today from a spiritual yet highly practical viewpoint.
Murray said "There is no doubt we are living in challenging times, and crises loom on every side. But Einstein said that a problem is not solved from the level of consciousness that created it. Do you long to see a tide of wise, effective action throughout the world and in your community? Sacred Activism – a term coined by Andrew Harvey – is a way to fuse skilful action with love and wisdom, that empowers people for positive change".
We are grateful to Murray for the much chatter and friendships that were made during the course of his time with us.
Thanks Murray! We look forward to you coming back soon!
